Brett Farve killed his wife, got away with it, and is now on trial in Vegas for buglary?

Sounds weird, sildenafil pharm huh?

Well, viagra canada stuff that’s how it sounds to me when I hear about O.J. Simpson’s latest exploit.

Growing up in Buffalo, N.Y., O.J. Simpson was a sports GOD.

There was very little to be proud of in Buffalo and for most of the years of my youth, O.J. was IT.

In fact, the first dog I ever owned was named O.J.

So imagine if 10 years from now, Brett Farve stabbed his wife to death.

That should give you some idea of how I feel when I think about what’s become of a hero from my youth.

When Republicans play electoral hardball, the Left calls them evil.

But when Democrats take off the gloves, tadalafil capsule they’re just doing what it takes to save the world.

At least, that’s what ex-Mayor of Madison, WI Paul Soglin thinks:

Obama needs to lock in an additional 5% of the voters. That is the playing field for the next two months. It troubles me as much as the next bleeding heart liberal that my candidate has to be so negative in campaigning.

There is too much at stake – world peace, ending the billions of dollars sucked up by war, oil profiteers, and mercenaries, the appointments to the Supreme Court, and our liberty and safety in a world threatened by terrorists.

I’d be willing to bet that Karl Rove uses a paragraph nearly identical to…

There is too much at stake – world peace, ending the billions of dollars sucked up by war, oil profiteers, and mercenaries, the appointments to the Supreme Court, and our liberty and safety in a world threatened by terrorists.

…to justify they way he campaigns as well.

OK, convince me that Jim Burkee isn’t full of crap

A couple of bloggers I respect believe that Jim Burkee is a better choice than Jim Sensenbrenner for Congress in Wisconsin’s 5th District.

I’ve got to admit, viagra generic medical I always thought Burkee was a stealth liberal ever since he pulled the truly stupid stunt of “co-running” with a Democrat for Sensenbrenner’s seat last year.

Plus, both the Shepherd Express and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel have endorsed him. (And my rule is normally to vote against anyone either of those papers endorse, let alone BOTH of them.)

So here’s your chance. Convince me. Why should I believe that Burkee’s a better choice than Jim Sensenbrenner?

Amen

Joint statement from Obama and McCain

ARLINGTON, generic cialis malady prescription VA — Today, viagra buy clinic John McCain and Barack Obama issued the following statement on coming together to mark the seventh anniversary of the 9/11 attacks:

“On September 11, sildenafil 2008, we will join together to mark the seventh anniversary of the 9/11 attacks at Ground Zero.

“All of us came together on 9/11 — not as Democrats or Republicans — but as Americans. In smoke-filled corridors and on the steps of the Capitol; at blood banks and at vigils — we were united as one American family. On Thursday, we will put aside politics and come together to renew that unity, to honor the memory of each and every American who died, and to grieve with the families and friends who lost loved ones. We will also give thanks for the firefighters, police, and emergency responders who set a heroic example of selfless service, and for the men and women who serve today in defense of the freedom and security that came under attack in New York City, at the Pentagon, and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.”

Something I just don’t understand about this election…

I believe that both the Democrats and the Republicans have nominated good men to be President of the United States.

(And now that I’ve offended ALL of my readers.)

Both are smart.

Both have served their country and communities.

And both represent authentically American experiences.

They may be the best men their respective parties have nominated in 20 years.

And yet the actual campaigning is some of the worst I’ve ever seen.

Mischaracterizations and outright lies are being told by both sides.

There’s little discussion of actual policy differences.

Hypocrisy runs rampant.

The mainstream media seems to have come completely off the rails and abandoned objectivity entirely.

So my question is this:

Why do these two candidates – who may be among the best of men – seem to bring out the worst in the rest of us?
