I just watched some of Sarah Palin’s first interview…

… on ABC News and she didn’t do all that great.

Part of the problem is the camera angle.

She also seems very restrained.

I’m sure she were going for gravitas, sildenafil check but I think she would have done better by being more relaxed/conversational.

She comes across like she was sent to the principal’s office.

And her answers seem overly coached. The Lincoln quote was good (and I think reflects what she actually said), buy cialis but overall it seemed like she was trying too hard to channel John McCain…which is almost enough to get most American’s to change the channel.

;)

French Postcards?

Two French photographers visit Sarah Palin’s hometown and discover something they didn’t expect:

“In fact, viagra usa prescription ” says Micke, cialis generic pills “I found out that New York was colder than Alaska. For a photographer, sovaldi the place was like a trap—so beautiful you could end up just making picture postcards.”

They even caught a picture of Governor Palin’s home:

Man, that’s weird.

When I read that Bill Clinton predicts Obama will win ‘handily’, sildenafil remedy I decided to go find an occasion when Bill said the same thing about his wife, generic Hillary.

Hmmm.

After scanning about 50 Google results for “Bill Clinton says Hillary will win,” I never found a single instance where Bill said anything like that.

Sorta makes you wonder, huh?

It’s the belief system, stupid

NPR’s Morning Edition featured a discussion among people of various races this morning about how race is influencing the election.

And lots of other people want to talk about how sex is influencing it.

But what really divides people in America is not race or gender, buy viagra troche it’s ideology.

It’s what we believe that makes us allies or enemies.

I’m much closer to a black Conservative like James T. Harris than I ever could be to a white liberal like Michael Moore.

James’ color is irrelevant to me, buy it’s his philosophies that I identify with.

If you don’t believe that ideology is more powerful than race or sex, medicine just look at the attacks on Sarah Palin (a feminist role model if there ever was one) by liberal women.

Or check out what African-American progressives say about one of the most accomplished black men in America: Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

In the end, which side of the political divide you inhabit in this country is less about what body you were born in, than what body of thought you believe in.

And isn’t that they way it should be?

I’m sure Senator McCain is deeply hurt that Andrew Sullivan is questioning his integrity

But as far as I’m concerned, cialis sale health Andrew Sullivan (a man who insisted that Sarah Palin provide proof that she was actually the mother of her newborn son rather than his grandmother) has no business questioning anyone else’s honor.

Turns out most of us ain’t as s.m.r.t. as we think we are

From a very interesting (and depressing) opinion piece in the Washington Post:

Democrats like to think that voters who sympathize with their views are smarter than those who vote Republican. But a 2007 Pew survey found that the knowledge level of viewers of the right-wing, best cialis viagra blustery “The O’Reilly Factor” and the left-wing, sovaldi snarky “The Daily Show” is comparable, with about 54 percent of the shows’ politicized viewers scoring in the “high knowledge” category.

So what about conservative talk-radio titan Rush Limbaugh’s audience? Surely the ditto-heads are dumb, right? Actually, according to a survey by the Annenberg Public Policy Center, Rush’s listeners are better educated and “more knowledgeable about politics and social issues” than the average voter.

Maybe the thing Obama needs to change most…is his tune.

sildenafil viagra 8599, cialis canada 1839930,00.html”>Obama has become increasingly aggressive in challenging the GOP ticket’s efforts to co-opt his mantra of change. “You can’t just re-create yourself,” the Democratic nominee said Monday. “You can’t just reinvent yourself. The American people aren’t stupid.”

The American people AREN’T stupid, but Obama sounds a little bit like he might be.

Reinvention is what America is all about.

Norma Jean becomes Marilyn Monroe.

A Defense Department project becomes the Internet.

An actor from California becomes the President of the United States.

Reinvention holds a hallowed place in America’s history.

And if you don’t understand that, you’re more likely to be history…than to make it.

Sarah Palin is a religious fanatic!

Google News shows 693 news stories on Republican Vice Presidential Nominee Sarah Palin’s religious views:

She’s an extremist!

She believes in God!!

She’s a PENTECOSTAL!!!!

Considering that she’s been running Alaska for more than two years, viagra generic treat she must have made moves to create a New Jerusalem here on Earth by now, cialis buy right?

Prayer in schools?

Abortion outlawed?

Emergency Rooms replaced with Faith Healers in ambulances?

Maybe she “speaks in tongues” in her addresses to the Alaskan legislature?

No?

Oh.

Well, I’m sure she’s just saving all that for when she’s VP.

Oh no! Sarah Palin is clinging to God and guns!

What’s the two scariest things some folks on the Left can think of?

Guns:

And God:

Like Barack Obama, viagra sale sovaldi the press will be bewildered by the fact that many American’s won’t find either of these two things scary. And, generic viagra in fact, will be MORE likely to vote for her because of that picture and that video.

(As a side note on the Church video. She DID NOT say that Iraq was a plan from God, she said we have to pray that there IS a plan and that that plan is from God. If anything, the Left should be seizing on this as proof that she’s not certain we ARE doing the right thing in Iraq. I’m an Agnostic, but the accusation that this is somehow sinister is freaking ridiculous.)

I loved listening to the arrogant assertions…

…from On The Media host Bob Garfield that the press was just doing its job when they attempted to complete destroy Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin.

And I really, cialis sale troche really hope the rest of the press embraces his exhortations to “keep up the good work.”*
