As I came back from watching Wauwatosa’s 4th of July parade…

…I listened to a Wisconsin Public Radio talk show where they seemed to be advocating higher taxes.

Irony is simply lost on some people.

Does this remind you of Orwell or what?

George Orwell invented a concept called doublethink to “describe the act of simultaneously accepting two mutually contradictory beliefs as correct” and I can think of no better example of doublethink than a court deciding that a law prohibiting racial discrimination is racial discrimination.

I thought public unions were willing to negotiate?

Connecticut’s public sector unions rejected a deal late Friday to cut $1.6 billion from the state’s budget, viagra generic ailment opening the door for thousands of layoffs of state employees — and upsetting a delicate budget balance.

The results of the union vote came as a surprise rebuke to state and union leaders, and who had negotiated a concessions package that would not result in any layoffs for four years in return for a two-year wage freeze. Now Democratic Governor Dannel Malloy says the state will begin laying off over 7,500 employees.

Why haven’t I commented…

…on the supposed physical dustup, cialis usa illness between two members of the WIsconsin Supreme Court?

Because I can’t think of a more appropriate circumstance in which to exercise my long-held belief that you should never to rush to judgement.

(Also, apparently, you should never rush AT judges, either.)
