Is it really healthy…

…that Milwaukee‘s mayoral office has been a guaranteed win for the Democrats (or Socialists) since 1898?

Considering the shape the city is in, generic cialis viagra I’d say, thumb “no.”

But even if you’re a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat, is one-party rule of a city for 109 years really the American ideal?

(For God’s sake, even New York City elects a Republican now and then.)

Only someone who works for the government…

…would think that $6 million dollars wasn’t that much money.

In a blog post reacting to the WTMJ story critical of the amount of money spent on travel by Milwaukee Public School employees, best viagra rx school teacher Jay Bullock wrote:

“While $6 million over four years sounds like a lot of money, malady it is about one-eighth of one percent of the MPS budget over that time. If even as many as half of the “junkets” were wasteful or fraudulent–which seems unlikely–that’s still very little waste at all. I think most organizations would be happy to know 99.9% of their spending was not wasteful.”

While I actually agree with Jay that the story is misleading, I think I need to remind him that $6,000,000 is a lot of money in a state where the average income for an entire family is around $45,000.

…female prisoner to sexually abuse her!

Wait.

You mean the guard was a woman and the prisoner was a guy?

Never mind.

Peg Lautenschlager thinks people are starving on the street

On Wisconsin Public Radio’s Week in Review show this morning former attorney general of Wisconsin Peg Lautenschlager said, buy viagra drugstore “We do have people starving on the street, discount cialis some people just aren’t willing to look at that.”

Really?

Where?

Every once and a while you hear about a baby being starved to death by its parents, but that’s not what she was talking about.

Her implication was that we’re letting citizens starve to death on the street.

I see black kids shooting each other in the street.

That’s a legitimate social problem.

I do not see people being left to starve to death with absolutely no options.

As my friends in online gaming say, “Show me a screenshot or it didn’t happen.”

Show my a picture of a person starving to death in the streets of Milwaukee or Madison because there was no government or private program that would feed them.

In other words, put up or shut up.

The number of bullets in an automatic pistol’s magazine is completely meaningless.

After the police versus punk shootout in Milwaukee the other night, buy viagra viagra Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett said:

“We have a situation now with the laxity of gun laws that these multiple clips are more readily available, viagra canada ” he said. “And quite candidly, it puts our police at a disadvantage if you’ve got individuals with very, very large clips fighting against police officers, and that’s what you saw last night. I need help to make sure my police officers are not being outgunned.”

Anyone who has ever fired an automatic knows that swapping an empty magazine for a full one is literally a matter of one or two seconds.

The difference between carrying three 10-round magazines (which was the legal limit for new magazines when the previous Federal law was in effect) and two 15-round magazines is functionally zero.

The problem isn’t the gun…or the type of gun…or the size of the magazines…it’s the shooter.

Are jet airliners evil because some assholes flew two into the World Trade Center and killed thousands of people?

It’s not the tool, it’s the person behind the tool.

And whenever Tom Barrett tries to blame the pistols instead of the people, he’s the one who ends up looking like a tool.

I was behind a car today…

…that was festooned with a number of Jesus-oriented fish symbols and bumper stickers.

In fact, discount viagra healing the only image on the car that wasn’t God-related was a giant Chicago Bears’ logo.

I thought to myself, cialis “Good thing this guy is in tight with God, because he’s gonna need all the help he can get driving around Packer country with that Bears sticker on his window.”

Illegal immigrants really don’t deserve this:

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel editorial board thinks the 12 million illegal immigrants already here “deserve a path to legal residency.”

Isn’t claiming that illegal immigrants deserve American citizenship a little like saying that joyriders deserve the titles to the vehicles they steal?

It’s sort of scary…

…that even Miller Beer’s hometown newspaper could only come up with ONE strong reason to choose Milwaukee as the headquarters for the new Miller-Coors and at least THREE good reasons not to.

Call me a cynic, viagra sale cialis but I actually felt like this story was laying the groundwork for saying, viagra sales generic “see, it wasn’t Wisconsin’s crazy high taxes that drove Miller away, there are LOTS of good reasons to pick Denver over Milwaukee!”

Congratulations to Milwaukee for avoiding a 16.4% tax increase

But it’s hard to see a 9% increase as a victory.
