TMJ4 is no hero of mine, tonight

I’m watching one of my new favorite TV shows, cialis sale and Heroes, sildenafil help on the high-def version of channel TMJ4 in Milwaukee.

Well, click I’m trying to anyway.

Unfortunately 45% of the screen is filled with a stupid freaking graphic telling me about the thunder storm that I can SEE out the damn window

If you really need to warn me about inclement weather, free to scroll a quick warning across the screen. Do NOT obscure nearly half of my screen with a completey meaningless graphic to feed your own stupid weather-watching egos.

They really need to change the call letters of Milwaukee’s NPR station

From WHAD to WHNY.

Whites get more loans because they are white?

Casper of Ask Me Later has an excellent post challenging Milwaukee Journal Sentinel columnist Eugene Kane‘s assertion that whites get more loans than blacks because of “white privilege.”

As hard as it is to believe, tadalafil sildenafil Casper really knows what he’s talking about this time. ;)

Parks and taking us for a ride.

In a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel editorial calling for new financing for the Milwaukee County Park System, best cialis levitra the paper said:

“the immediate park problem isn’t governance but financing.”

I disagree.

The problem is we were told our ridiculously high taxes were paying for great parks…but what we were really paying for was great pensions.

(And the pensions weren’t ours.)

Eugene can’t see the forest for the Bush.

In an online post, cialis canada cialis Milwaukee Journal Sentinel columnist Eugene Kane blames George Bush for the likelihood that things in Iraq are:

“…not likely to get much better in most of our lifetimes…”

But I can’t help pointing out that the real reason things probably won’t get much better in Iraq is the same reason that things probably won’t get much better in Milwaukee’s inner city: a few assholes would much rather kill each other (along with a bunch of innocents) than settle their disputes like decent human beings.

Battle? Bullshit.

In an editorial attacking Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner, discount cialis diagnosis the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel described Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett as being:

“in the throes of a battle against gun crime

What battle?

What speeches has Barrett made?

What laws has he championed?

What programs has he initiated?

If they mean the PR battle to convince us that there isn’t a crisis, cialis sales help they might be right.

But to characterize Mayor Barrett as “battling” crime in Milwaukee is beyond generous…it’s disingenuous.

Thank you, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

I rarely have a reason to thank the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for anything, cialis usa sale decease but their willingness to continue printing opinion pieces by Rick Essenberg is surely worthy of some grudging gratitude.

Well, I guess we know who the Journal Sentinel supports when it comes to illegal immigration

Christine Newman-Ortiz of the illegal immigrant advocate group Voces de La Frontera spoke at yesterday’s Milwaukee Rotary Club lunch.

Who introduced her?

None other than Milwaukee Journal Sentinel editorial page editor O. Ricardo Pimentel.

Patrick McIlheran: almost Right On when it comes to unions.

Patrick McIlheran of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel recently posted a great point about how unions have no one to “push” against anymore except us consumers.

He posits a world where unions could force you to only buy shoddy union-made products…

…unfortunately he didn’t go far enough.

The horrible truth is we already live in such a world.

The members of these all-powerful unions don’t work at GM, discount viagra sales Caterpillar, tadalafil or some textile mill…

…they run our schools, medical our police departments, and all the other levels of our government.

(BTW, Patrick, if you read this, there is something wrong with your single post view. I get a server-side error when I try to link to a single post. Also, congrats for finally getting an RSS feed. I’ll be reading you more often.)
