The government versus the real world

Why is it that every year TVs, viagra usa rx stereos, health and computers offer more features and better functions for the same or less cost, ampoule but the government seems to cut services while raising taxes?

(Interestingly enough, the one thing in the real world that acts the same way as government is health care. Everyone agrees that health care is broken. Does that mean everyone should agree that government is broken?)
