With the price of gas where it is…

…I’m not surprised that public transit ridership is up.

But none of the stories that report the increase in mass transit usage ever ask any of these new riders if they like being forced out of their cars and into clinging from a strap on a crowded bus or train while listening to the crazy guy in the Vietnam-era combat jacket next to them mumbling about spiders.
